Sony Xperia Tablet S received Firmware update.

Sony has released the firmware update for their waterproof tablet Xperia Tablet s.This firmware update brings lot of bug fixes and  new enhancements especially Firware update brings VPN fix for this tablet.This update comes through OTA update.Also the batch release called "release6a" comes with still Android ICS udpate 4.0.3 only.There is no Android jelly bean version updated with this tablet.

Sony recently recalled lot of Xperia tablets S for the water resistance issues.But there is lot of bugs which is fixed in this update and VPN will work fine with this build.This is really useful because most of the tablet users are connected to corporate network in the laptop and tablets.To update the Software or firmware update just go to Android Software update tab and select  Settings > About tablet > Software updates.
