Google selling most of the product in Google Play and it started shipping wearable devices as well.As part of increase demand for the wearable device the dedicated page has launched in Google Play especially for the wearable device.As of now Google Play webstore and these apps use the given APIs and tools which is available for speed and better performance for the wear device.
Also as of now some of few devices has listed in Webstore in Google Play wearable device section soon we can expect more. In related news, Google has also published the Android Wear companion app in Google Play, which will be used by the Android Wear users to control voice action preferences, adjust notification settings, and configure devices.
